Breakaway Excursions is proud to announce that we will be offering SUP rental at LaDue Reservoir this summer. This came after a considerable number of requests from our clients. We are still in the process of determining which boards will be the best to use for a rental company. If you have any suggestions or recommendations, we would love to hear from you. At this time we are thinking about getting the Riptide by BoardWorks.
The Riptide comes in two lengths, 10'6" and 11'6". We are thinking about going with the longer board to give our newer paddlers more stability. The Riptide is a super stable board which is extremely lightweight and very durable. In fact, BoardWorks says they have the strongest most durable board on the market. The verdict is still out on that, at least until our clients get a hold of it.
